its a great idea, if the move to greece and play pro for 2 years will prepare him for the NBA then go for it. not all kids are equip to attend college and be successful. if playing sports is a way for urban kids to become successful (black, white..etc) then do yo thang! Good luck Tyler...much success!

The only club in Euroleague that really could use as young player as Tyler is Partizan. He would have enough chances to prove himself since they play in 3 leagues plus national cup, that's over 60 games, and they will also play against two NBA teams (Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns) in October. The only thing that he couldn't expect there is big salary.

Good stuff. I especially like the hallucinatory "Dream On" video insert.
It'll be interesting to track how the commentary on Tyler differs from Europe to America over the next couple of years. So interesting, in fact. I've created a jeremytylereurope.com site to track it.

Totaly agree with you Christophe.
I think that Tyler moving to Greece is never going to happen.
I am Greek and i can assure you that Greens are not going to change neither Batiste neither Drew(he has been great since Top16).
As far the Reds is concerned,Greer and Childress are in doubt for next season(especially Childress) but if any of them leave,Olympiacos is going to fill that spot with a foreigner.Besides there are many big guys in the roster and on loan as well..

@Dimitris
I did not critize the Greek League, but I don't think a Greek Euroleague team will use Tyler for use one of their two US spots. Comparing Tyler and Batiste is hilarious, Batiste was 26 when he came to Panathinaikos, Tyler would be 17

@Arvids
i would not call it hate, I just don't like the move to come to a league where there are only a limited number of US players allowed. It may be a good move for Tyler but not for the team that signs him in my eyes.

Lots of hate for Jeremy Tyler here as it seems even though noone really knows how he will measure up against guy in Europe in general. Yet, Euroleague level might be a bit too high for Tyler at the moment still, but just seems a bit weird how he is bashed in BIE even though the only thing he is trying to do is to play ball and being paid for it.

Wow... the guy who wrote this article must be an expert in world basketball!
Yes really.. what incredible decision to play in the Greek league.. what a poor league with "only 2 spots".. this will be a disaster for the player, like it was for MIKE BATISTE who came very young in greece. He must be very dissapointed winning 4 times the European championship with Panathinaikos, also very dissapointed that last week millions of viewers all over the globe watching him beating CSKA in the Euroleague final.
No jeremy.. bad boy jeremey dont go Greece, go to Israeli league with many famous teams.
