After signing with 10 different NBA clubs (and one, the Milwaukee Bucks, twice) in eleven seasons, journeyman guard Damon “The Best Shooter in the World” Jones has found a club whose roster he’s never graced: NSB Napoli.
Jones reportedly signed a one-year contract with Napoli yesterday and the deal was announced publicly this morning.
Jones finished the season with the Bucks last year after completing three years of a four-year, $16 million dollar deal signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2005. Holding out for much of the season resulted in a pitiful stat line for 2008-09 beginning with the 108 *total* minutes played in NBA games.
Apparently little interest was shown among NBA teams in taking on the 33-year-old and so Jones decided to jump the big pond.
