The data is probably wrong, but its in $ while most pay in Euro. For maccabi its not far from true- estimated 16-17 mill $
Cska 40M$ at least and Pao 25 M Euro=40M$ minimum

Maccabi is 11th in budget in europe but 2nd in achievement!!!
and for years is in top 5 with a lower budget and 2 euroleague+1 suproleague cups+3 additional finals+2 semis in 10 years!!!!!

Red Star does not play the Euroleague, nor will it play it in the years to come( I had to put this in hehe) and it has a bigger budget than Partizan.
It should be like: Cibona›Red Star›Olimpija›Partizan

The russian newspaper totally fails: Real Madrid is around 18 millions€ and there’s no way Tau’s got 31mill dollars. And maccabi 16???? FAIL

These numbers are comparable, because they represent the total budget for teams.

Total budget for NBA teams = salaries + other operating expenses.

Total budget for European teams = salaries + taxes paid on behalf of players + other operating expenses.

I don’t see how Real’s budget is bigger than AXA’s… I know budgets are more than the salaries, but the players AXA has are worth MUCH more than Real’s, and I see no reason for such big differences in the “other parts” of the budget to give Real a 5 mil USD budget more.

And a 7 mil USD difference is ALOT when talking about a 32 mil total. More than 20% more budget… That’s a big mistake if it is a mistake.

Sportigo is a user submit service and I doubt that the average nba yearly budget is 100 million and from what I heard it’s under 70 million before taxes, which would be around 35 million after taxes.

NBA and euroleague budgets are different nba accounts before taxes and the euroleague accounts after taxes so in reality they are really close
