A few days ago, the Euroleague announced that Euroleague Final Four tickets for Berlin would be sold tomorrow, Wednesday October 29th, on this web site. Thanks to Pucki of schoenen-dunk.de, we know that right now you can buy tickets here and on the official Euroleague web site.
The tickets, which cover the two days in Berlin on May 1st and May 3rd, will go on sale at 12:00 only on the official Euroleague web site.
A few minutes ago, we got an email that there will be a pre-sale at 11:00am on this exclusive web site.
The web site already tells us the following rules:
- Every customer will only be able to buy 6 tickets
- Tickets for price category 1 and 2 include catering
- Tickets can be paid by credit card only
- The tickets will be sent in spring 2009
- Tickets can not be re-sold
We know the tickets will probably go for 100-800 Euros again, as they did last year. If you don’t want to spend that much money, I really hope that you signed up for our private league at the Euroleague fantasy game, where we’re giving away two tickets as the first prize.
We’ll try to look on the web site tomorrow, see how things go, and if we’re able to buy tickets at 11am and noon
In case you want to buy some tickets, good luck!
LAST UPDATE 1:52pm: Tickets are now being sold through the official Euroleague web site.
UPDATE 1:37pm: Right now – online ticketing works here.
UPDATE 1:26pm: According to BallinEurope reader Teo, the best and only way to get tickets right now is “to use the hotline of the O2 world ticketing service.”
UPDATE 1:08pm: Eventim still isn’t selling any tickets, while the Euroleague added the domain berlinf4.com within their official statement about the ticket sales. The new statement now also does not mention any time when the tickets will go on sale.
UPDATE 12:25pm: Still both sites, eventim and berlinfinalfour.com, are not offering any tickets
UPDATE 11:54am: All pages are down at this momentm so no tickets can be bought right now.
UPDATE 10:56am: The web site where you where able to buy tickets is closed down again. I wonder what happens to the people that already ordered.
UPDATE 10:05am: The web site is live and tickets are being sold already. Here are the prices:
Category 1: no seats available
Category 2: no seats available
Category 3: 883.00 EUR
Category 4: 663.00 EUR
Category 5: 399.00 EUR
Category 6: 267.00 EUR
Category 7: 120.00 EUR
The best seat available for 883 EUR right now is in row 17! at half court. How did that many tickets were sold at 10:00am when the official start of the sale is at 12:00? By the way, one ticket in the very LAST row at about half court is 267 EUR.
Here is a map of the O2 world in Berlin and what is still available at 10:24am (red – sold, green still available).

They closed down the eventim-page where the early orders were possible.
You are right
Seems like a mistake that it was working at 10:00am.
they closed it down exactly when i was entering my address and it kicked me out…
woe is me, at least a few friends got nice seats.
btw. is it expensive to actually expect to see the court or is it just me being scrawny?
Jesus Christ Almighty! I entered my data and credit card and shit and pressed the ‘Zdfgf something button’ (I used Babelfish translator for the whole procedure!) which was supposed to get me a seat and I got a message in German that the procedure could not be accomplished (babelfish translation speaking), then I go to try again in case I did something wrong and the site is closed!
Bottom line… it was closed before it was even opened (according to the official time)!
And I thought Germans were organised… I think the site is run by a Greek
I guess it just was an error, that they started early or that the pre-sale contingency was reached really quick due to this link here on Ballineurope.com.
@Teo
I’ve only seen three or four games at o2 world so far. But as far as the fans of ALBA Berlin post on the boards, you can see quite good from everywhere although the atmosphere of the crowds gets lost in the upper ring. But obviously the distance between the “cheap” seats in the upper ring and the court is quite big. In the lower ring the ranks especially in the fist 10 to 15 rows increase quite shallow.
We have been to the o2 world a few weeks ago and I even went up all the way to the last seat that hits the outside wall. I must say, I even liked that seat – but like we said – this seat is 267,00 EUR. As you can see on the map – the corners are already taken. I guess this is for the fans of the four Euroleague teams as it has been the last few years.
Of course the prices seem – expensive, but you should not forget that you get four great games of the best teams in Europe. so please divide the price by 4.
this site definately is run by a greek, I was robbed of my great seats darn it…
the only thing I would trust us to organize is a party..
and yes tobias, I realize it is actually lots of value for the money, but I ask myself how they expect to have a “burning” atmposphere if only the CSKA fans can afford half of the tickets
not that I dislike them (at all!), but I believe that they won’t start banging drums and chanting for 2 days straight. Anyways, I need tickets, I’ll bring the drum, it’ll be all good in there, this season will be great.
I like your idea of a party – I think BallinEurope should organize something like that. At the NBA finals a nice guy from the LA times even organized media pick up games which was great to play with all these guys such as Henry Abbott from ESPN’s truehoop and Chris Broussard from ESPN.
BallinEurope has to come up with something since it will be easier to organize something in “Deutschland” for us just because we do speak the language.
@Teo – trust me you will like the CSKA fans – esp. the women
. If you count on one Greek team you will have enough noise anyway.
@Teo, actually organizing a fan party for the international basketball blogosphere sounds like a really good idea. I’ll definitely mention that idea to the local ALBA Berlin supporters… as there’s a strong and active fanbase in Berlin, and there has been a successful charity party organized by some ALBA supporters just recently.
If you mean the Basketball Aid Charity party: It was organized by Basketball Aid e.V., a charity club. The head of the club is Member of Berlin Baskets e.V., so i don’t see where ALBA supporters have organized there somethin.
@AgentOrange. Sorry for misunderstanding that thing. I did not intent to suggest, that it were official ALBA supporters. Then let’s just put it differently: As it is Berlin, there’s a strong Basketball community who probably is able to support such an event.
Regarding your:
“UPDATE 10:56am: the web site where you where able to buy tickets is closed down again. I wonder what happens to the people that already ordered.”
On phone Eventim’s customer service told me that as long as you got a confirmation and order-number they assume the order is valid and the tickets will be delivered. If anything changes you’re supposed to be informed by e-mail. I wouldn’t take it for granted that they stick to this point of view, but they would probably be in trouble if they’d try to get out of the contracts.
Euroleague site is not even up online. Surprise surprise… At least you can depend on Euroleague for some things, like the fact that they never do things they promise on time. Respect.
It`s disgusting. I can`t sacrifice any more university classes just to buy tickets that probably won`t be on sale even if I skip class. I have to have priorities. That procedure sucks big time. It they say 12 cet, that`s when the sale should start. I am really angry right now. If there ain`t a solution within the next 45 minutes my dream of EL Final4 life might not become true.
The Eventim-Link works!
I strongly recommend to use the hotline of the O2 world ticketing service, I got my tickets there about 30 minutes ago. All the internet services are down and the guys at the hotline don’t know when they will be up again.
Look at the chart right here and try to order the tickets via telephone, only good way rght now and it’s affordable (9ct per minute from germany).
See you all in Berlin!
got my tickets on eventim
My advice : create your account before and take care of the 50€ transaction fee for foreign countries.
This url works fine :
http://www.eventim.de/cgi-bin/tickets.html?fun=TDetailB&doc=funktion/fun_deb_sta&key=264974$540213&affiliate=ome&referer_info=EuroleagueBasketball
Teo where is the hotline? Do they speak English?
WTF: try the link that droop just posted
I can confirm that the eventim link works now, a friend just bought his tickets.

So I guess we start the timer at 1:45pm to see when they will be sold out.

THANK YOU! WE LOVE YOU! We’ll go to Berlin!!
Congratulations ! See you in Berlin !
francesco don’t you worry, they will call you soon to let you know the charge for delivery.
The thing that pissed me off is not that they are charging for a delivery, but that the delivery cost was 34 euros at a moment and 1 hour later it was 50 euros!!!
And no droop, you were not the only one to pay that.
Hi WTF , the foreign country fee is back on the website !
Now there is even a link for new users !
Great job but 3 hours late.
See you all in Berlin !
droop – next year we will employ you as the official ticket assistance guy ok?
Just kidding – thanks for helping these people!
yeap ! Last Year, I was too late for Madrid , this year I was standing on the refresh button for 2 hours !
Must have awfully small feet
my google chrome actually pushed the eventim final4 ticket site into my favourites when opening a new tab, that’s how often I loaded this site yesterday…
I guess this would have been a great site to track the hits between 10 and 13 yesterday
