I know.. numbers are just numbers..

http://www.euroleague.net/main/statistics/individual/average?category=6&topic=2

Anyway he's one ahead... (while of course Rubio has a better per-minute-avg ..I didn't want to compare... only as example)

One final consideration.. defensive stats counts also on team effort and not only on the individual one.. and here Barca is clearly of another level with respect to Olympiacos

Thanks for the answer

As you rightly said, numbers don't count, and they don't count especially in defense. He can have 10 steals in a game and still the player he's marking can score 30 points on him. If you take too many chances with your defense, you'll end up with 1) many steals, 2) many baskets scored by your personal opponent, 3) many fouls, 4) all of the above.

Now, with that I don't mean that Teodosic is a bad defender, I'm just highlighting your point of numbers not counting and whatnot.

Of course, I don't mean that he is a good defender also.

Lastly, if you want to compare him to Rubio, you should try using a more leveled stat, steals per playing time. That is, steals per minute, not per game. (BTW, I'm sure your math is wrong, Teodosic can't be ahead of Rubio because Teo has 0.85 steals per game and Rubio hase 1.5)

Ok numbers are just numbers and the defensive attitude of DD is clearly different from Milos' one...

But Teodosic is ranking 18th overall in steals (one ahead of Rubio) and conuts 5 blocks as well...

..maybe "crazy and just offensive attitude" is a little bit too much, isn't it?!?..

Moreover, despite Scoonie 21mpg, Milos presence passed from 27 to 30 minutes from reg.season to top16...

Don't you think that more likely Giannakis is givin Papaloukas a rest (26'mpg in reg.seas and 18' in top16) before the final rush, and Penn is the right patch to overcome a disastrous Beverly??
