What an amazing two minutes defence at the end of 3rdQ by Siena.. no matter of Spanoulis, DD or Saras.. Siena demolished PAO confidence with the game.. and of course… Mr Lavrinovic!

I remember an end of regular season BIE discussion about Siena without KL not reaching the top16.. well, still into the series and KL back..

well, I can agree that spanoulis is not very consistent, which is has proven on the national team as well, but still he was instrumental in the first playoff game win against mps, even if his turnovers/bad passes cost pao the edge in the second game.
he is not supposed to handle the ball that much and frankly, Saras is too physically weak to stand against the mps guards. All in all let’s cheer for 3D and hope for a long 5game series and don’t be too harsh on billy, he wasn’t the only one who was off on thursday.

Panathinaikos is a joke with Spanoulis. When they get rid of him and play some serious basketball with real points like Saras and DD they will demolish everything in their path.

So I guess we will have to wait for some years for that to happen.But by that time, Saras will have probably retired. So the building will start all over again and the Euroleague will have to wait for a couple of years more.
