Where Spanish Week happens
November 27, 2007

Since the start of the century, it really seems to me Spain has been the place to be.
Spain is where the World Champions happen, where the best League in Europe happens, where Ricky Rubio happens, where Tau Vitoria fans happen, where Penelope Cruz happens,

where Marta and Rudy Fernandez happen, where Roberto Duenas happened, where La Oreja de Van Gogh happens,

where ACB TV happens, where Victor Claver happens, where the Barça-Real rivalry happens, where Marc Gasol happens, where Ojos de Brujo happens.

Spain is also the place where all members of the BallinEurope crew will meet this week. We will fly to Malaga tomorrow for the Unicaja-Rytas game then fly to Madrid for the match-up between Real and Roanne. On top of that, Christophe will be in Charleroi tonight for the ULEB Cup game between Spirou and Girona and Tobias will attend Lottomatica-Barcelona in Rome. We will talk further about those 4 games and dedicate most of our posts this week to Spain, a country that has really turned into a basketball paradise.

Got something to say?

Lucky you, you will witness the Unicajism syndrome at first hand…
Welcome!
