The national team is an honor and you should not just give it to someone who does not really care about the country. Give it to a "worse" local player who has worked for it, dreamed for it, and will play his heart out for it. Otherwise the national team loses its meaning. P.S.: Of course immigrants are different. I just hate throwing away spots to random foreigners who have such a small link to the country. They need to stop importing unnecessary Americans into their league, then into their national team.
