He's a preternaturally gifted passer on a team without any good shooters, in an offense that fails to generate the sort of player movement that would allow Lebron to get his teammates some easy buckets. So the "smart play" for Lebron is usually to just overpower his defender, go to the rim, and dunk it. On a different team Lebron would rack up a ton of assists. Imagine, for instance, Lebron playing in a Phoenix Suns-type of system. Beautiful, isn't it? I think I'm just going to keep imagining it, because it's not going to happen anytime soon.
