    There’s no chance Bouroussis is leaving Olympiakos. He is actually going to get a new multi-year, multi-million contract.
    Papaloukas, Pelekanos and Erceg are 100% Olympiakos players although there’s nothing official yet. Halperin is also very close.
    Roderick Blakney is leaving and so is Qyntel Woods, which is a shame because he really made an impact this year

    If you are not lying, so why Azovmash is letting Delininkaitis go? 6I guess it’s not because of money, coz 60 000 it’s not big money for Azovmash. Also Delininkaitis was one you their best player, and he’s better player than Serapinas, except that Serapinas is better defender.

Also according sportalas.com Zalgiris made an offer to Jasaitis, Salenga is also staying, and Maciulis agency protalent already wrote in their official site, that jona signed new contract with Zalgiris. it seems now place for Delininkaitis. So, Jevgenij, maby Delininkaitis would come to Zalgiris only if Popovic will not comeback? But we’ll see

    Hey, Brazilian basketball fan here. 🙂 Yesterday I read an interview with Rafael Araujo, he said that he’d like to try himself out in the Euroleague, then maybe try getting back into NBA. He’s not too happy with general conditions in Russia. He didn’t name any teams, but he said that he’s most likely to sign with Polish or Lithuanian teams, somewhere where he could get lots of play time and try himself out. Hope you find this interesting.

    Great work Christophe, maintaining this overview. But what exactly do you consider a transfer rumour by media and/or discussion forums? Is it somebody posting some “insider info” on a discussion board? Is it a newspaper writing about rumors? What about other webblogs? I just experience on german boards that this overview itself is considered a reliable source for rumors so a clarification of the phrase “by various media or online discussion forums” would be excellent.

    @Gruebler
    Great comment.
    I was not really aware of the impact that this table would have. I see that even websites or newspapers refer to the “rumors” posted here and talk about them.

    For the rumors that I take from “various media or online discussion forums”, I really go on my own feeling if a rumor is a real rumor or just an invention of a crazy fan writing in a forum.

    I also check with some people I know in the staff of the different teams if some rumors are true or not. But it is of course very difficult to check what has some background and what is pure phantasy.

    @Christophe: Zalgiris vicepresident Navikauskas confirmed that Mottola is in candidates list, although it seems he could come just if negotiations with other candidates wouldn’t be succesful. Also Navikauskas said that at the moment Slanina’ price is too big for Zalgiris. But who knows, maybe Donatas will agree to play for smaller money. So it seems your sources could be wrong. And also he confirmed that there are negoatiations with M.Zukauskas but probably he will stay in Pesaro.

    And finally, Novica Velickovic iz just a wish of Dynamo Moscow, Partizan is not negotiating with them, and NOT willing to sale him. So you can turn the bold off 😉

    it seems Zalgiris stoped bargainings with Timinskas an now probably will look for sg-pg player, so probably a foreigner. While Timinskas is SF and if he would come (npw it probably won’t happen), then Salenga would move to sg.

    Timinskas was a candidate, actually the contract was almost signed, but then bargainings was stoped. Rumours says, that coach Grigas stoped bargainings, because he want’s SG-PG player (similar as Popovic style), coz of risk, if Deane wouldn’t play as expected or if he would play well,but got injurie, then Zalgiris would left just with Kalnietis in pg position, so new sg/pg could also take pg responsibilities in such case, although he will play sg more.. And moreover, it seems concract with him should be signed this week.

    Btw, Gintaras Krapikas should join Zalgiris’ coaching staff, it seems he and team agreed about concract, so now just signature is needed. Also Zygimantas janavicius probably will play in Zalgiris next season, although it was expected to see him in new LKL and BBL Challenge team – “Kaunas”, where mostly Zalgiris second team leaders (Vasiliauskas, Cepukaitis, probably Motiejunas) will play with additions of some players who used to go to Sabonis’ basketball school, like Butkevicius for example. Could it mean that Kalnietis will be loaned somewhere?
