Maybe Marc Jackson?

October 3, 2007

It really looks like that Olympiakos wants another player, a player that played in the NBA. Of course a Marc Jackson is not a Chris Webber  but maybe the guy that fits them better. Marc Jackson, who went to Temple University, started his professional career overseas in Europe, although he was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 1997. Right after college he went to play in Turkey and Spain before he actually played for the Warriors in 2000.

What is the difference between Chris Webber and Marc Jackson? Both are the same height (6-10 / 2,08) and almost the same weight (245 lbs. / 111,1 kg).

Does age make the difference? Marc is two years younger than C-Webb but I am sure the main difference is the cash. Marc Jackson won’t make anything close to the $10-12 million that Chris Webber would have made in Piraeus.

I am sure it would be a good addition for Piraeus if Marc doesn’t get hurt like he did in the 06/07 season in New Orleans. He has been a solid Center for the Hornets after his injury and the team praised his ” vocal leadership and veteran presence on a relatively young tea”.
