Fearless prediction: NBA game seven (also BBL, Serie A finals)

June 17, 2010

From the Because I Have A Blog Department, the BallinEurope official fearless prediction (TM) for game seven of the NBA Championship Series.

(Drumroll, please.)

Because BiE is a huge adherent to the completely irrational belief that only in sports can there be poetry, this fearless prediction says…

Los Angeles Lakers 101, Boston Celtics 100 (OT).

In which Pau Gasol threatens another triple-double in a beautiful tete-a-tete exchange with Kevin Garnett, who contributes his best game in years. Ray Allen strokes a three to send it into overtime. Of course, Kobe goes for 40, but the game winner is hit by Derek “Mr. Clutch” Fisher and the Lakers D stifles the final Boston threat.

Exciting enough for ya?

Also, BiE’s going with Brose Baskets in a squeaker for the Bundesliga title and (ho hum) Montepaschi Siena in another blowout for the Italia championship.

Have fun, everybody. This one should be great…
