A dictator in the Euroleague??

Julien reported already about the political influences that come up in the Basketball scene with a former French president being signed by the San Antonio Spurs. Now the Turkish team Fenerbahce Ulker has gone one step too far…

The Turkish club has made a former Latin-American Dictator and actual defensive hardliner its official spokesmen for the recent Euroleague TV presentation of their team. You can check out his first official speech right here.

You will probably also want to know what the supporters thought of this new political direction chosen by the Revolutionary committee of their organization. And yes, you are right, they agreed totally as you can see here.
