AUDIO: Interview with DeAndre Liggins

BIE’s Andrei Britz caught up with DeAndre Liggins after his Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd team scored a big road win, 79-96, over Asesoft Ploiesti in Eurocup.

Liggins a former Kentucky product, played for Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA and their D-Leagues affiliate Tulsa 66ers. He spend last season with another D-league team, Sioux Falls Skyforce. This season he moved to Russia to play in the VTB league for Volgograd.

DeAndre talks about how the team is adapting to the coaching style of newly appointed coach Dirk Bauermann. Bauermann is a well known choach in Europe for his success with marquee clubs and national teams. Liggins posted a nice performance in Ploiesti, scoring 4 out of 5 three pointers (12 Pts) and snagging 5 rebounds and 8 assists.
