OK, Blake, try these dunks imported from Poland

February 6, 2011

In an exciting if somewhat obvious promotion, the mighty powers of Blake Griffin, YouTube and ESPN have combined forces to allow basketball fans the opportunity to design a Griffin jam in the All-Star Weekend dunk contest throwdown.

Right, that’s the challenge. So here’s BallinEurope’s suggestion for The Flying One: Give a shoutout to Polish ball with either of the final two successful dunks in the final round over there. Reproduce either the visual tribute to His Airness Himself executed by Cameron Bennerman of Energa Czarni or the six-cheerleader leap by winner Łukasz Biedny and you can’t go wrong.

Dunkophiles may want to keep an eye on the 22-year-old Biedny, who measures all of 6’2” (1.88m) and currently plays for the Poznan amateur squad – the second amateur to take a European all-star dunk contest this season.

Thanks to reader Mirek for the video link!
