CSKA Moscow and Unics Kazan in VTB finals

January 22, 2010

So the first-ever championship of the VTB United League will come down to CSKA Moscow, which outlasted a near upset by BC Khimki (well, it looked like an upset for three quarters, at least), 71-66, and Unics Kazan, who outplayed an ineffectual-looking Zalgiris Kaunas, 75-65.

The third-place game between Khimki and hometown Zalgiris tips off at 6:30pm, while CSKA-Unics starts at 9pm. Sadly enough, Russia-based Live TV does not seem to have a live feed for these games available (though you can catch Valencia-Barcelona); this website appears OK for IPTV possibilities, however, so give it a whirl tonight.

What’s that? A fearless prediction? Sure! How about CSKA Moscow in a romp, of, say, 11 points? (So now you know to bet the farm on Unics…)
