CSKA Moscow once offered a contract in Comic Sans

September 16, 2013

Tomas Van Den Spiegel has done more in basketball than most but here’s something we never though we’d see for any player.

See that contract in the corner from CSKA Moscow, with whom Van Den Spiegel won two Euroleague titles, yup it’s in Comic Sans. As Tomas points out, CSKA would be more familiar with Cyrillic but it’s still quite a surprise. Still, we think @DjordeMatic makes a good point: “Many thinks CS is not serious font 4 contract. But is much better 2 sign serious contract in CS than comic contract in serious font.”

Be sure to follow Tomas on Twitter, he’s also worth checking out.
