Do you believe in Gallinari, Knicks?

January 8, 2010

So the New York Knicks took out the Charlotte Bobcats, 97-93, last night for their third consecutive win behind Danilo Gallinari’s clutch threes and overall 5-of-11 from beyond the arc. The Italian virtually produced his own highlight film during the squeaker; just take a look at this swagger…

Incidentally, would you believe that as of this writing Gallinari is no. 2 in the NBA in total three-pointers made with 91? Would you believe that he’s shooting 40.8% (91 of a league-high 222) from beyond the arc? Would you believe the Knicks’ chances at a playoff spot are being talked up?

Gee, maybe Gallinari’ll make it after all. Maybe King James *will* come to New York to increase Danilo’s open looks and, let’s face it, make him look even better. Or was it just the Bobcats?
