Get ready for the battle: PAO and Oly meet in the Euroleague Final Four

April 2, 2009

After CSKA Moscow qualified already on Tuesday, tonight both Greek quarter-finalist managed to beat their opponents and clinched their Final Four spot for Berlin. For Olympiacos, it is the first Final Four appearance for 10 years and you can consider the Josh Childress-Theo Papaloukas move as a huge success.

Berlin can now prepare for the battle of the Greeks, an Homeric epos is about to arrive as both teams did not face each other in a Euroleague Final Four for 15 years. And if you know the atmosphere between both teams in a regular season game, you can imagine that the O2 World will be pretty hot on the upcoming 1st May.

By the way, there will still be a Game 5 next week between TAU and FC Barcelona for the last spot among the top 4 teams in Europe.

“And if you know the atmosphere between both teams in a regular season game, you can imagine that the O2 World will be pretty hot on the upcoming 1st May.”
And if you know, that those regular season games means that only one of the two fan-groups are allowed to be in the arena (like in the video), “explosive” will fit better than “hot”.

You don’t have to worry, if you can rebuilt the Berlin Wall until 1st May everything will be OK.. 😛

Some sites wrote here in Greece that the German police suggests that the Greens will stay at Hamburg and the Reds at Hannover..

BigSmo, I also did not receive. I think they wait for sold-out to send everything at the same time.

Me neither. I think they are waiting for all the teams to qualify and then print the tickets, so fans don’t get mixed up in the stands.
