Hedo's new website

September 26, 2007

Players start blogging and start their own official web sites – what a blessing for the media. Next one is Hedo Hidayet Turkoglu who just released his official web site. I guess he expects his fans to speak Turkish since there is no English version available yet. But is Hedo really that devoted to his country?

There where rumors that almost everything went wrong for him and the Turkish national team at the Eurobasket 2007. He was shooting around with his own coach during team practice, he followed the team bus in his own car and other “super star” things like that happened. Besides that they did not qualify for the Olympics or even the next chance to qualify.

Let’s hope he is more productive with the Orlando Magic the upcoming season and we all wish him luck with his car rental company… Maybe that’s why he had his own car and wasn’t traveling with the team?
