Ireland announce select squad for Luxembourg friendlies

An Irish men’s league select side will take on the Luxembourg national team in three friendlies next week.

The games, which will take place from 4 to 6 August will be Luxembourg’s final preparation games before their EuroBasket qualifiers.

The Irish roster is as follows:

Kyle Hosford – UCC Demons
Martins Provizors – DCU Saints
Ciaran O’Sullivan – UCC Demons
Adrian O’Sullivan – UCC Demons
Michael Chubb – UCD Marian
Aurimas Statkus – Dublin Inter
Eoin Darling – DCU Saints
Eoin Chubb – UCD Marian
Mateusz Rudak – Neptune
Dylan Cunningham – Moycullen
Luke Thompson – Templeogue
Jason Killeen – Templeogue
Ian McLoughlin – Neptune
Michael Bonaparte – Killester

Coach: Mark Keenan
Asst: Mike Hickey

Jerome Westbrooks, who has acted as an assistant with the select squad before won’t be travelling with the team due to family commitments. Ireland will return to full international play in 2015.
