Latest NBA Trade Rumours

October 8, 2015

Kevin Durant in the Lakers? Bryant in New York? Pau Gasol in Memphis alongside his brother? These are the latest NBA rumours that just might prove to be true.“>

Kevin Durant’s contract with Oklahoma runs out next summer, and there have been rumours that he just might leave the Thunder in order to go elsewhere and start fresh. One of those destinations that have been rumoured is the L.A. Lakers. According to Stephen A. Smith and his sources, Durant just might sign with the Lakers next summer if he decides not to stay in Oklahoma City. According to these sources, L.A. is his primary objective.

The rumour doesn’t stop here as he says that Durant might be joining New York Knicks along with Kobe Bryant, which is one of the most far-fetched theories lately. He backs this rumour with New York Knicks’ president Phil Jackson statement that it is possible that Bryant could play for another NBA team. Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant, now that is a nice trio.

Springbok-Durant

In reality Durant is probably getting all sorts of pleas from around the country to leave Oklahoma City in exchange for a new opportunity and the question is how he will handle it. There are two things that I can’t wait to see next year (that are not tied one to each other in any possible way): Durant’s decision where he will play and what you can expect in 2016 from the newest real money online casinos, which are best fitted for players from South Africa (and one of my hobbies).

Durant, one of the most coveted free agents on the next summer market will be looked for by the Washington Wizards as well. Washington is his hometown and the Wizards’ point guard John Wall will do everything to persuade Durant in returning home.

Springbok-Gasol

Another interesting rumour was generated by Pau Gasol’s brother, Marc Gasol who stated that “they” will be trying their best to bring Pau to Memphis, which will be unbelievable, he says. At the moment that would be a long shot, but considering Pau has two years left of his contract with Chicago, things just might surprise us in the end.

Other interesting developments are whether Dwight Howard will opt out of his contract next summer and leave the Rockets, but he has said that he is not worrying much about that and that his main focus is making the Rockets better this season. There still haven’t been rumours what teams are interested in him if he decides to leave Houston.
