Monday's cigarettes

June 2, 2008

After a long weekend, here are the cigarettes for this Monday after a short delay.

  • Boris Diaw has announced that he will compete with the French NT this fall. After their early elimination of the playoffs, the Phoenix Suns have accepted Diaw’s request to play in September against the Ukraine, Turkey and Belgium.
  • Chris Fleming, current head coach of Artland Dragons, will be the new head coach for Brose Baskets Bamberg.
  • Gasol 2.0 in Memphis next season already?
  • Some news from Timmy Hardaway’s best friend John Amaechi.
  • An 18-minute long interview with FIBA General Secretary Patrick Baumann.
  • Jared Reiner pays tribute to the Freaks.
  • Some rumors/news from Turkey: David Blatt signs a two-year deal with Dynamo Moscow; Kaya Peker also signs with Dynamo; and Ersan Ilyasova will most likely return to the NBA.
  • After a disapointing season, Oostende will go for a renewal. The first names are Ivan Paunic and head coach Vlado Vukoicic.

It will be sad seeing another perspective coach leaving the country.
I hope both will remain in serbia the season too
