Monday's cigarettes

June 9, 2008

More and more leagues are coming to an end while the transfer market is heating up. Additionally, the NBA Draft is approaching…

  • Speaking of the NBA Draft, the Reebok Eurocamp is currently going on in Treviso. Europeanprospects, draftexpress and nbadraft.net are, of course, in place.
  • The Spanish transfer market is on the run: TAU and Barca are interested in Erazem Lorbek and also want Darjus Lavrinovic; Dikoudis could move from PAO to Pamesa Valencia; and Real Madrid is desperately trying to sign a PG with Cabezas, van Rossum or Victor Sada on the board.
  • The ACB is currently putting together a compilation of the season’s best plays. And you can vote for them. Here are the best alley-oops of the season, for example.
  • In the first game of the German Bundesliga Finals, Immanuel McElroy of ALBA Berlin went for a fist kick against his opponent and risked a suspension for the next game. ALBA won the first in the series this Sunday, however.
  • Euroleague stars are featured in Men’s Health.
  • NBA Finals coverage is extremely international this year.
