Sunday night's cigarettes

April 27, 2008

The Euroleague Final Four week is about to start and here we come with some cigarettes that are not that much in relation with the big event.

  • Luka Pavicevic answering 20 non-basketball questions to Radio Multikulti in Berlin.
  • Marc Salyers can be considered one of the most popular players when you see how many people care about his future. Thanks to the fantastic blog “I love Basket,” I found this nice story about Marc and his tattoos.
  • Mickael Pietrus will not play with France in September. One more. You can his reasons and his thoughts in French here.
  • The Top 10 Plays of the Euroleague playoffs.
  • Brandon Brown wins it at the buzzer for Teramo!
  • It looks like former Lithuanian sharp shooter Rimas Kurtinaitis will be the new head coach of Lietuvos Rytas next season. The loss in the Baltic League Final against Zalgiris Kaunas is not securing Trifunovic’s spot in Vilnius any better.
  • Talking about the Baltic League, DC Collinsas wins it at the buzzer. And the Greens fans are partying…
  • Partizan Belgrade wins the Adriatic League. And the MVP title goes to Nikola Pekovic. But the real action was not that much related to basketball, with a fan running on the court to show Partizan players what he thinks of them and Nikola Pekovic being afraid to get hit by Marko Milic.

UPDATE: Thanks to our friend Matej, here is the video of that “true fan” walking on the court during the Adriatic League Final Four.
