The fans of the Euroleague Final Four

May 5, 2008

If you followed BallinEurope closely this weekend. you will probably have noticed that I’m into taking pictures. When we did our pre-Final Four organization, we wanted to do another contest for “The Fan of the Euroleague Final Four” and draw another picture – well, that last part isn’t true: We can’t draw everybody.

It’s really interesting though to see what fans from all four teams looked like and I was running around for about one hour taking the following pictures.

Even though we do not have a contest, which would be your Final Four Fan of 2008?

    Ladieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees and Gentlemen,

Your (or at least my) winners in the BallinEurope Fan of the Euroleague Final Four award:

male: Star of David guy, Maccabi Elite, picture 10.
female: scarf-wearing girl, Maccabi Elite, picture 14.

    runners up:

male: peppermint striped shirt-wearing guy, Montepaschi Siena, picture 2, if only for the sheer bravery displayed in wearing this color combination.
female: tricolor dress-wearing woman, CSKA Moscow, picture 1. Is that Eva Gabor?

    Cheers!

CSKA T-shirt with Sabonis name must be the biggest blasphemy I’ve ever seen in my life 🙂
