ULEB Cup Live

January 15, 2008

We are back again with preparing your Tuesday night. Eurosport is offering two videostreams of ULEB Cup action for free tonight. Even if we know that sometimes, the announced games are changed in the last second, here is a quick preview for both games that are officially listed to be streamed.

The first game of the evening will be the clash between Dynamo Moscow and Panellinios at 18h15. Dynamo Moscow could possibly clinch first place in Group F as Head coach Svetislav Pesic’s team grabbed an impressive win at Red Star to improve to 6-2 – one game ahead of both Red Star and CEZ Nymburk. Panellinios meanwhile is looking to finally win again. After winning the first week, the Greek side has lost seven straight games. So this looks really like it should be a blowout for the Russians.

The second game will be between Beghelli Bologna and Red Star Belgrade. Beghelli Bologna’s chances of reaching the elimination round are very slim and a victory at home over Red Star in Group F is a must. The team of the new head coach Dragan Sakota will need to improve on its defense if it wants to even still have a chance in the final week. Red Star meanwhile can move into the next round with a victory. Point guard Omar Cook was boiling hot in last week’s action against Dynamo with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals while small forward Mladjen Sljivancanin netted in 23 points. It looks like a close contest than the first one.
