Video: Euroleague All-Star nominees

April 25, 2010

From the ever-busy In Case You Missed It Department, below the break runs a few highlights from each of the 10 all-Euroleaguers for 2009-10. Based on a combination of fan and media voting, this final 10 will be further divided into All-Euroleague first- and second teams.

The contents list for this three minutes of basketball ecstasy includes: probable future San Antonio Spur Tiago Splitter; Euroleague Defender of the Year Viktor Khryapa; perpetual all-star Ramunas Siskauskas; Linas Kleiza, who’s gotta be the favorite Euroleague MVP; the usually unstoppable Josh Childress; a third Olympiacos player in Milos Teodosic, which could quite conceivably give the Reds 60% on the first team; man in the middle Aleks Maric; Partizan’s sensational and lightning-quick Bo McCalebb (How did this dude go undrafted and unsigned in the NBA?); Erazem Lorbek, anchor to what has been called the “best interior defense in Europe”; and scorching hot Juan Carlos Navarro.

BallinEurope will offer its endorsements next week; in the meantime, let’s have a look at that video another couple dozen times…
