Chicago Bulls produce Euro-centric highlight and lowlight of the weekend

The Euro-centric buzzer-beater of the week? That’s easy: Not only did Team Britain force Luol Deng show great positioning in order to grab the offensive rebound and follow with a game-winning tip-in at the overtime buzzer to upend the Toronto Raptors, 102-101, on Saturday night, his two resulted in the nicely European-flavored Chicago Bulls bagging their NBA-high 40th W of the season.

The Raptors at Bulls game also saw this week’s Euro-centric lowlight as well, with mercurial Frenchman Joakim Noah taking out his frustrations on Team Italy’s Andrea Bargnani after the latter blew past the Bull on the baseline. After getting whistled for a technical foul, Noah earned a second T for, um, noting his displeasure at the call.
