Iverson on Besiktas collapse vs Asvel: "We let it get away from us"

Ever since arriving in Turkey, Allen Iverson has been nothing but positive in European media interviews. After Beşiktaş Cola Turka blew yet another fourth-quarter lead in falling to Asvel Basket in Eurocup play, 88-85, on Tuesday night as Mr. Answer watched the entire final 10 minutes from a vantage point on the bench, A.I. wasn’t about to restrain himself in front of TV cameras again.

While Iverson has been figuratively crucified in mass media for publicly decrying coaching decisions, but few would be willing to debate with the viewpoint described by the self-proclaimed “really upset” Iverson below. Not surprisingly, local press whisperings say the seat of head coach Burak Biyiktay is getting awfully warm right about now; hey, BiE hears Dusko Vujosevic is available…
