Domino’s Pizza has become the title sponsor of the Basketball Ireland Super League and Division 1 for both men and women.

Domino’s Ireland has become the title sponsor for the men’s and women’s Super League and Division 1 basketball competitions in Ireland. The move follows the company’s Greek division becoming sponsor of Peristeri, in both the Greek league and the Basketball Champions League.

Partnership details

The deal will cover the remainder of the current season in Ireland and the following 2025/26 season.

Eoin Corrigan, head of marketing at Domino’s Pizza Ireland, said: “Basketball’s popularity is growing massively across Ireland and this partnership is all about celebrating the talent, passion, and excitement of Irish basketball. Basketball is fast, dynamic, and full of energy – just like us – so we’re delighted to support the game and its community,”

“Domino’s are coming on board at a hugely exciting part of the season, with clubs in the hunt for a playoff spot. We can’t wait to see who will be crowned Domino’s Men’s and Women’s Super League and Domino’s Men’s and Women’s Division One champions in April.”

Hope for long-term commitment

While the initial deal is for just 1.5 years, Basketball Ireland is confident that it can develop a long-term partnership with the well-known pizza chain.

Basketball Ireland chief executive John Feehan, said: “To have a brand like Domino’s invest in our leagues is a massive moment for Irish basketball. Their support will help us grow the game, reach new audiences, and continue building momentum for the sport in every corner of Ireland.”
