Euroleague ticket prices

November 27, 2007

I was wondering what are the prices of basketball games in the different Euroleague basketball cities. It was not easy to find prices for some of the teams or for some it was impossible as the teams do not display prices on their websites. But here are the results.

  • Aris BC 10€ – 25€
  • AJ Milano 14€ – 48€
  • AXA FC Barcelona 9€ – 58€
  • Brose Baskets 17€ – 33€
  • Chorale Roanne 17€ – 27€
  • Cibona Zagreb (20-120 Kuna) 2.73€ – 16.38€
  • CSKA Moscow (100-5000 Roubles) 2.76€ – 138.5€
  • Efes Pilsen* (0-10 Liras) 0€ – 5.61€
  • Fenerbahce Ülker* (0-10 Liras) 0€ -5.61€
  • Le Mans 8€ – 25€
  • Lietuvos Rytas (20-60 Lita) 5.82€ – 17.47€
  • Lottomatica Roma 15€
  • Maccabi Tel Aviv (250-400 New Sheqel) 43.56€ – 69.71€
  • Montepaschi Siena 11.50€ – 44€
  • Olympiakos 10€ – 250€
  • Panathinaikos 10€ – 30€
  • Partizan Belgrade no data available
  • Prokom Trefl (15 – 40 Zloty) 4.07€ – 10.85€
  • Real Madrid 7€ – 70€
  • Tau Ceramica 10€ – 32€
  • Unicaja Malaga 11€ – 45€
  • Union Olimpija 12€ – 100€
  • Virtus Bologna 20€ – 200€
  • Zalgiris Kaunas (35-75 Lita) 10.20€ – 21.85€

As you can see, the prices defer with the economic situation of the country mainly. However, some teams charge very high entrance prices despite being competitive like Brose Basket which has one of the highest prices on the lower end.

*The two Turkish teams mainly charge now entrance fee in order to fill the arena which is by far not as packed anymore than some years ago. At least at Efes, because for Fenerbahce Ülker, the famous Abdi Ipekci is still heating up.

I’m not sure, but tickets for Partizan’s games in Euroleague cost around 2-4€ per ticket.

at the beginning of the season maccabifans website did a nice article about season-tickets prices for EL teams.
http://www.maccabifans.co.il/News.Asp?ID=5188&y=2008 – in hebrew obviously (btw – i think you can find auto-translate from hebrew to english nowdays). if you find it interesting i’ll translate the main findings.

I am currently at Abdi Ipekçi for the big Fener-PAO game tonight…I am sitting in the press area. It is 2 hours before the game but I can already here the chanting from outside the arena. This place is gonna blow up like a fire-craker tonight!
