Euroleague Top 16 groupings completed

January 18, 2010

Hot off the big board in Barcelona, then: Here’s how today’s draw for Euroleague Top 16 groupings panned out.

In Group E, it’s Regal FC Barcelona, Panathinaikos Athen, Partizan Belgrade and Maroussi BC.

In Group F, Real Madrid, Montepaschi Siena, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Efes Pilsen Istanbul

In Group G, CSKA Moscow, Unicaja, Zalgiris Kaunas and Asseco Prokom.

In Group H, Olympiacos, Baskonia, BC Khimki Moscow region and Cibona Zagreb.

And so … how do you like *your* team’s chances…?

if E meets F Real, Barca and Pana can’t reach altogether Paris2010… isn’t it?

It will be a Spain vs Greece affair (sorry..I don’t believe in CSKA.. even if I’d like to see Pop Mensah onsù playing..)

Barcelona, Pana, Uni-Caja-Laboral (which one??..mumble..), Olympiacos

Barcelona and Olympiacos have the best chances for final four, having in mind the draw and potential outcome of group stage…

nice “makeup” to get panathinaikos to play 4 “home” games with Maroussi. Instead of keeping all the rules with Maccabi-Efes to Barcelona-Panathinaikos group you force 2 greek teams in the same group and 4 spanish teams in seperate groups.

    +1 BERTOMEU!!!SAME ON YOU!
