Instant history: YouTubing Panathinaikos' Euroleague championship

May 8, 2011

Big congratulations go out from BallinEurope to Panathinaikos, 2010-11 Euroleague champions. So now, it’s time for BiE’s version of “We Are the Champions,” that obligatory anthem to European champions in all sports, in order to celebrate Panathinaikos’ championship; that’s right: YouTube videos! Click below the break to see the fun and frivolity of the Greens achieving their third championship in five years. It’s instant history in the making!

3 championships in 5 years – this is a clear sign of dominance for this team! This was an even sweeter victory for coach Obradovic who now has 8 titles under his belt. This team has made instant history and it was not a tough fight for the title either given that they faced Maccabi, another one of those dominant teams in the Euroleague over the past decade.
