Monday cigarettes

October 29, 2007

The week starts and the cigarettes are here again…

  • A fantastic Euroleague Fantasy Challenge tool has been released and can be found here
  • Florian Homm, hedge fund manager at Absolute Capital Management Holdings Ltd. is more and more in financial trouble with his company. Why this is on Ball in Europe? Homm is a former German Youth National Team player in Basketball.
  • One change already in my Fantasy team, I traded Aleksey Savrasenko for Andrea Crosariol. More updates to come by Tuesday probably.
  • The former Princeton forward and Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 2001 Konrad Wysocki is actually playing its best basketball in the German BBL. He is actually the best rebounder in the league with 11.6 boards per game. Wysocki has left Princeton during his senior year but finished his diploma in Architecture. Now he is using his body to dominate the paint in Germany and to promote his team from Ulm half naked.
  • Adrien Moerman is having a great season so far with Nanterre in the French ProB. The 1988 born forward, that has been loaned by Euroleague participant and French Champion Roanne is averaging 17.4ppg and 8.3rpg so far.
  • Former NBA Slam Dunk Contestant Terence Stansbury lost his job. He was actually head coach in Luxembourg.
  • Jaka Lakovic is the MVP of this weekend in the ACB. The Slovenian guard scored 30 to lead Barcelona of Catalan rival Girona. By the way, a first loss for DKV Joventut this season with the disaster at home against Bilbao.

Seems that the tool you posted wasn’t the one i was looking for.

If you think the tool you posted is fantastic then check this:

    http://www.hoopsstats.com/basketball/fantasy/tools/euroleague/allplayers

The tool was made by a guy called ‘jorje’ who posted it in interbasket forums.

I think it is an excellent tool and deserves a special post. Although it will increase the competition for the res of us 🙂
