Navarro suffers hamstring injury

October 21, 2014

FC Barcelona has just announced that Juan Carlos Navarro is set to miss some time with a first degree hamstring injury. In a statement the club said his “availability for forthcoming matches will depend on how the recovery progresses.”

Injuries have hampered La Bomba for the last two seasons now and this is a blow to Barcelona’s back court but as it’s only a grade one strain, the guard could be back in competitive action within a week depending on the recovery process. Typically the recovery time to get back to full availability is between 1 and 3 weeks on a grade one strain. This would put him in line to potentially return for the Blaugrana’s game with PGE Turow Zgorzelec on 31 October.
