One-armed baller makes national squad

October 29, 2014

Are you ready to be inspired? I said ARE YOU READY TO BE INSPIRED? Ok, BiE has you sorted.

Meet Jordan Lee, the 14 year old from Killarney, Co. Kerry who has done more with one-arm than most BiE readers could ever imagine doing with two.

Lee, who is missing his left arm from the elbow down, has been selected for the Irish Under 15 development squad. The son of a former top flight player in Ireland, Lee plays club basketball with St Paul’s and schools with St Brendan’s, both in Killarney, and now has a shot at playing with his national side in next summer’s European championships.

Have a good evening everybody.
