Open Thread – Eurobasket Round 2 Day 1

September 11, 2013

Let’s get it started. Group E gets under way today with three games. Two teams begin play already in need of a win.

Latvia (0-2) vs Ukraine (1-1) – 14.30

Belgium (0-2) vs Serbia (2-0) – 17.45

Lithuania (1-1) vs France (2-0) – 21.00

All times CET.

The bookies favour Latvia (-3.5), Serbia (-11), and France (-5). Who do you think wins? Let’s get the discussion started in the comments below.

To kick things off, I’m picking Ukraine for the upset, Serbia to win with less room to spare than predicted, and France to win.
