Play and win with NBA Jam Van and Ball in Europe

August 26, 2009

In connection with the its summer tour of Europe (we’ll have a schedule of August stops for you soon), the folks at NBA Jam Van PR are offering BallinEurope.com readers an opportunity to win prizes – not to mention try a new online game, which is something your life needs more of, to be sure – in August.

How many virtual hoops can you hit in 45 seconds? Finish in the top three scores submitted to BallinEurope.com and win official NBA Jam Van T-shirts and caps!

The NBA Jam Van game is a simple enough little endeavor, similar in fashion to the free-throw shooting meter in EA Sports and other basketball video games. The game instructions read:

•  Your first click sets throw height.

•  Your second click sets horizontal airm.

•  The closer the ball is to the center of the crosshair when you click, the more accurate your shot will be.

You get 45 seconds to shoot the basketball through the hoop as many times as you can. (And when it’s offer, you can even “post your score to Facebook.”)

As for the Ball in Europe promotional side of things, here’s how that works:

•  Play.

•  After completing a round (or several), send a screenshot which displays your final score to manager@ballineurope.com. (The easiest way to make a screenshot is to press the CTRL and PRINT SCREEN keys simultaneously; then paste the image into any compatible program, like SuperPaint, Microsoft Picture Manager, Adobe software, or even Microsoft Word; and save file.)

You may submit different scores as many times as you like. Winners will be notified by email on September 1.

And by the way: No cheating. We know what sort of score is possible, believe us.

Good luck and happy shooting!

Is it just me, or with Opera the ball moves much slower, than with IE, so it is much easier to score? But if you play well this game, than you can score more points with IE because the ball move faster so you have more opportunities to score..:)
