Tiago Splitter: Still no decision at all on Spurs, Baskonia next season

June 11, 2010

What a tease

And speaking of Tiago Splitter…

A Spanish-language website called NoticiasDeAlava is running an interview with the Caja Laboral Baskonia/prospective San Antonio Spurs big man about a number of topics, including his hunger for a title, Pete Mickeal, the vincibility of FC Barcelona, and Ante Tomic.

But of course the key bit for NBA fans, particularly those in San Antonio with whom Tiago may be ever closer, is this bit:

The brief translation: Yes, Splitter has an option year in 2011. No, he hasn’t made any decision about whether he’ll play NBA ball or even with another European team. No decision at all. Sorry, folks.
