Is Jonas Valanciunas the problem for Team Lithuania?

And here’s a second question: Shall composition of the requiem for Lietuva’s 2012 Olympic bid begin now? Sadly, it doesn’t look good for our heroes with Team USA on the slate tomorrow and a first-round date with presumably Spain or (BiE’s pick) Russia in the knockout stage – and this in the 20th anniversary year of the country’s greatest-ever Olympic performance.

Retrospective time comes again to BallinEurope! But hey, who doesn’t like an excuse to watch a bunch of air-raising slam dunks? Hello everybody, and welcome to the SportingBet Euroleague Fantasy Challenge! Ah, the start of a new fantasy season. The excitement, the competition, the prizes… Well, the prizes only for you guys. Did you miss me? Really? Well, I didn’t miss you either, so no worries… :) Ah, just kidding – it’s good to be back at BallinEurope.com.

Of the million things I gotta do at the Euroleague Headquarters, one of my main tasks is to manage the Fantasy Challenge. Yes, I price players, I set the rules, I open and close trades … I do it all. No, I don’t have access to your teams, so if you find a player you didn’t choose in there, it wasn’t me, I promise. But I do manage the game. If your complaint is about a given player being totally overpriced … Yes, *that* was me. The general idea is to overprice players in the beginning to prevent people from having exactly the same team. By the time you can start making money, all players are more or less at their correct price and it is *talent* that counts.
