Adam Hess is back

September 2, 2008

After we followed Adam Hess’ blogging throughout the Euroleague season with great interest, we were a bit disappointed here at BallinEurope that the small forward from Roanne did not sign with another EL team so as not to prevent further adventures on euroleague.net. However, his new former team, the Artland Dragons, have now given him the platform to continue his work as Europe’s best Player Blogger.

After some messages from training camp, Adam started his season of coverage by explaining the different approaches to language fluency. Quite a wide subject but with his particular humor, even this subject becomes interesting.

If the majority of Germans didn’t learn English so well, the Americans would have no choice but to figure out the language. At practice our team is made up of mostly Americans and we have Germans who sound like Americans… except Axel [Jarchow] who looks and sounds like a teenage Arnold Schwarzenegger (according to Chad [Prewitt]).

Well, being compared to a young Arnold Schwarzenegger in terms of looks might be a compliment for  youth player Jarchow but to compare him to a teenaged Arnie in speech must be taken as an offense.

Thanks, Adam, and thumbs up for your work! We can’t wait to hear more from you.
