Ireland Men’s Super League basketball preview: Games to watch in Week 14

January 30, 2023

With the Irish basketball season starting to heat up, gear up for Week 14 of the campaign with our pick of the three matches to keep your eye on.

Be sure to follow all the latest statistics, updates and live scores from the Super League season via the Flashscore app or website.
But where should your attention be in Week 14?

UCD Marian vs Belfast
It’s been a season to be proud of for Belfast so far, with the Northern Irish outfit towards the top end of the Northern Conference table. They face a UCD Marian side who by contrast, have found victories hard to come by this season. Expect a one-sided contest, with Belfast demonstrating why they’re challenging towards the top of the standings.

Sligo vs Maree
In this cross-conference clash, two sides vying for the playoffs in their respective divisions will be keen to taste victory on Saturday evening. Sligo have spent the last couple of weeks in a bit of a rut, struggling to find form in the Northern Conference.
They’ll face a tough task against a Maree side that have top scored in the Southern Conference so far.

Moycullen vs Ballincollig
Should Southern Conference leaders Maree slip-up, chasers Ballincollig will be waiting in the wings looking to capitalise.
Ballincollig have enjoyed a strong campaign so far and enter Week 14 of the season in strong form. It’s a match against bottom-placed side in the South Conference Moycullen for Ballincollig, suggesting the County Galway outfit will likely take the victory.
