Joe Herber out for a few months

October 16, 2007

For Greg Oden it is a micro-fracture – for Johannes Herber it is a torn ACL. Both are things you don’t want to have as a basketball player since this might throw you back for at least 6 months. Johannes Herber is also known in the U.S. since he had a  college career at West Virginia University. Right now he is playing for ALBA Berlin (ULEB cup contender) in Germany where he also got hurt during a practice session.

Joe had his break through game during the Eurobasket 2007 in Spain where he was a major factor that Germany kept their chances alive for getting a ticket to the Olympics in Bejing next year. Good luck to the 23-year-old to make a comeback soon!
