Monday's cigarettes

January 28, 2008
  • The new method to announce your club management that you leave your team is the SMS. Larry Ayuso did that with his actual Euroleague team Cibona Zagreb.
  • Marcus Brown is investing in the stock market and is a beauty consultant to Michael Bradley
  • James White is finally having some impact in the Euroleague. He is the #1 in this week’s Top Ten plays
  • Danilo Gallinari had a career high last weekend already. But he had also the dipsy-do play to drive the Italian commentator crazy.
  • The always well informed IBN forums announces the following rumors and signings in the next days: Damir Markota to Lietuvos Rytas, Tony Delk to Cibona and Clay Tucker to Khimki. And Zalgiris Kaunas is still looking for a big guy
  • The Slovenian head coach Ales Pipan already announced the 25 names of the players to be tested in order to form the team for the Olympic qualifying tournament.

Ayuso said “I leave team” but shouldnt he have said something more gramatically correct like “I am leaving the team”? I thought he went to USC for college ball… I see great possibilities as a custodian engineer with these kind of manners 🙂
