The angst of Primoz Brezec (in 141 characters or less)

January 15, 2011

You heard it here first … unless you get Primoz Brezec’ tweets, that is.

Brezec’ Krasnye Krylia (a.k.a. the Red Wings), have dropped to 2-7 in Russian Superleague play – “good” for ninth place in the 10-team association – after losing to top-of-the-table Spartak St. Petersburg this afternoon, 81-65.

The Slovenian big man soon expressed his disappointment through everyone’s favorite thought-a-minute website and must’ve been tweeting his dissatisfaction fairly rapidly, as the following thought was posted just before 5.30pm CET:

I never been so down and disappointed!!! I hate to say it but we r NOTHING!!!!

Ouch.

Primoz also had issues with his 2010-11 club *before* the game today, firing off a tweet stating:
Fried chicken for lunch before the game??? Come on!!!!!!!!!! Garbage

Note that Brezec overcame certain hunger pangs and/or heavy stomach to lead his team with 17 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort.

Is there an over/under on Brezec’s games left with the Wings? Can BiE take the under?
