Unglaublich: Nice dunks from the Bundesliga All-Star dunk contest

January 25, 2010

The BBL held their All-Star Game festivities over the weekend. In the showcase game, the South overcame the North behind MVP Chris Ensminger of Telecom Baskets Bonn, who … ah, I hear ya: Get to the dunk contest.

Right, then. A couple of videos of high-flying jams to show you, then.

Surely finishing second – ah, forget what the judges may have decreed – was Benjamin Salu Tadi of Rosenheim who did Nate Robinson one better. Check it out as Tadi hurtles not merely one, but five, Spuds.

Winner of the contest was TBB Trier’s Jamal Shuler with something called the “Straight Outta Sahara” maneuver, which apparently involves donning headgear and receiving a header from teammate Derek Raivio for the slam. (Best of luck in the World Cup, guys…)
