BiE to broadcast LIVE hoops, what could possibly go wrong?

October 16, 2014

This Saturday evening, for the first time ever, BallinEurope will broadcast a live stream where we’re dumb enough to actually do the donkey work.

UCD Marian play Templeogue in the Irish Premier League this Saturday and we’re going to stream it via Ustream. The upside is, yay free basketball. The downside is, uhhh have you met me?

In all seriousness, it’s a must-win for both teams in only the third game of the season. UCD Marian and Templeogue are both stuck on 0-2 and in an 18 game season, every L is huge.

Our coverage will start a few minutes before opening tip at 7pm local/8pm CET. We won’t have running commentary. This might change depending on equipment during the season, yes the plan is to do a few games, but I’ll pop in with some analysis during timeouts and between quarters.

It’s a brave new world. Join us right here on BallinEurope…or possibly a few other locations. We aren’t precious, we’ll let any site that wants embed the stream just so long as you’re cool and include a link to BiE below it. It’s not like there’s much we can do about it if you don’t but hey, be cool.
