BiE to stream Irish Cup semi finals LIVE on Friday

January 8, 2015

Huge news for BallinEurope today as we can confirm that we will be streaming the Irish men’s Cup semi-finals live from the Mardyke arena in Cork this Friday night.

BiE has directly streamed three games this season and carried the stream of a further four from the Irish Premier League. This combo however will be our biggest yet as four teams battle it out for a place in the biggest game in Irish basketball.

Coverage will start at 18.55 GMT/19.55 CET on Friday. First up will be UCD Marian vs UL Eagles and that’s followed by defending champions UCC Demons vs Swords Thunder at 21.00 GMT/ 22.00 CET.

As with our previous broadcasts we will probably stream via our Ustream channel however we may try to run it over YouTube instead. Either way we are leaving the code open for any other site that wants to carry our coverage to do so. We just ask that you be cool and include a link back to BiE.

One other note for anyone carrying our streams. We will almost certainly have a break between broadcasts because we go low-tech and will need to adjust a few things. Big times for us and we are genuinely thrilled to have this opportunity.
