LIVE: Irish Cup semi finals

January 9, 2015

BallinEurope is in the Mardyke Arena in Cork to broadcast Friday night’s two huge Irish Cup semi finals. First up it’s UCD Marian vs UL Eagles (19.00 GMT/20.00 CET) and that’s followed by UCC Demons vs Swords Thunder (21.00 GMT/ 22.00 CET).

Tweet us during the game @bie_basketball and I’ll try to read them out during breaks in the action

To view the games live press play in the box below. At the time of posting I don’t know if that’s going to be a Ustream or YouTube one but there will be only one there. Coverage begins at 18.55 GMT/19.55 CET. There will likely be a break in the stream between games but we’ll be back on air 5 minutes before the second semi final starts.

The embed code is open so anyone who wants to use this on their own site is welcome to. Just please link back to BiE.

For those of you who haven’t watched a BiE live broadcast before, which is most of you I’m guessing, we don’t do running commentary because I’ve got to work the camera during the game so I’ll drop in with my thoughts during any stoppages or breaks. This also means there’s a decent chance of swearing on air, so deal with that but really who cares?
